The upcoming 1.3.2 release brings a unified Marksmith Forge menu to Windows File Explorer. Right-click .md or .markdown files to export to PDF, DOCX, HTML, LaTeX, or EPUB, or select a single file to open in the editor. Export individual files or batches in the background while your current document and unsaved changes stay intact, with Marksmith Forge notifications for export results.
The Microsoft Store edition adds the submenu to Windows 11’s first right-click menu. The standalone Windows installer provides the same actions in the classic menu, under Show more options on Windows 11.
Exports are saved beside the source file, replacing any existing export with the same name. See the 1.3.2 release notes for details.
Marksmith Forge supports Windows 10 and Windows 11 through the Microsoft Store, plus macOS on Apple-silicon Macs through a direct DMG download.
Choose Windows or macOS for Apple silicon. Both builds are free, private, and built to get out of your way.
